A Day as a Staff Nurse

• Give high-quality nursing care and support to residents
  
  

• Manage medicines safely and make sure they are given correctly, following NMC Standards
  
  

• Create and follow treatment plans for residents
  
  

• Provide a safe, caring and supportive environment
  
  

• Make sure all care follows legal, regulatory and best practice rules
  
  

• Help the Service Manager meet targets by keeping nursing care standards high and making sure staff and shifts run smoothly
  
  

• Support, guide, teach and mentor team members
  
  

• Work on your own and with the Manager to keep the home running well
