What we need from you:

A Day in the Life of a Registered Nurse

As a Registered Nurse, you will support and guide the care team to make sure residents get the care they need. You will stay organised, handle challenges, and provide safe, professional, high-quality care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Helping residents with personal care based on their care plans
  
  

• Working with managers, families, social workers, doctors, and residents to make sure care meets their needs and updating plans if things change
  
  

• Giving medication safely and keeping accurate records
  
  

• Checking nutrition and hydration, and updating plans if dietary needs change
  
  

• Watching for risks like pressure sores or changes in toilet habits
  
  

• Taking part in and encouraging residents to join activities
