As a Nurse in one of our Care Homes, your main job is to support residents with their health, emotional, and social needs. You will lead your team to make sure every resident receives high-quality, person-centred care. You will plan, deliver, review, and record the care given, making sure each care plan is accurate, personal, and up to date. You will also help train, guide, and support colleagues and junior staff so they feel confident in their roles. Part of your job will include giving medication safely and correctly, following the proper procedures. You will encourage residents to stay as independent as possible, while ensuring they enjoy a good quality of life, dignity, choice, and individuality.

To apply for this role, you must be a qualified Registered Nurse with current NMC registration. You should have good knowledge of the NMC code of conduct, professional care standards, and the latest clinical practices. You must also understand Health and Safety rules and make sure they are followed. Experience in a similar role, leading a team, and working as Nurse in Charge would be an advantage.
