Job Overview

 We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Nurse to join the Critical Care Unit at Ysbyty Gwynedd in North Wales. Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board runs three hospitals with a total of 33 Critical Care beds. The team provides care for emergency patients and supports a wide range of surgical specialties.

Main Duties of the Job

  • We are looking for nurses who have experience in working in busy hospital areas.

  • You should be enthusiastic, committed, and willing to learn and grow in this rewarding nursing field.

  • You will receive a full training period and a structured preceptorship program that follows the National Competency Framework for Adult Critical Care Nurses.

  • The Critical Care Unit focuses on providing safe, high-quality care and making sure patients have a positive experience.

  • As part of the team, you will represent the Trust by delivering excellent nursing care in line with Trust Values.

  • You must treat all patients, families, visitors, and colleagues with respect and dignity.

  • Being able to speak Welsh is an advantage, but both English and Welsh speakers are welcome to apply.
