The role 

• Give clear and supportive leadership to the care staff.
  
  

• Help residents with different needs and levels of support.
  
  

• Provide nursing care, including giving medicines, preventing infections, wound care, and catheter care.
  
  

• Always aim to keep a high standard of clinical care in the home.
  
  

• Create and follow care plans that meet each resident’s individual needs.
