TASTY TASTY WHEAT DOSA

Dosa is like a national food for Indians. Varieties and varieties of dosa recipes are followed in different states across India. There is wheat dosa, rava dosa, ragi dosa, oats dosa, maida dosa etc. The general perception is that rice related foods are not good for one’s health. Actually dosa is an item which helps you to lose weight when you make it in a healthy way. It is the favorite breakfast in India. 

Wheat dosa is much more famous among others because diabetic patients prefer this one.Let’s have a look on how to make it. Take one cup of wheat flour and add enough water. ¼ cup sliced shallots, 1 teaspoon chopped curry leaves, ½ teaspoon of finely chopped ginger and enough salt. Make a batter which is very thin and runny. If it is of a medium consistency add some more water. There can be lumps of the wheat, so stir the batter properly. Heat a non stick tava. Grease it with oil. Pour the batter and spread it. For taste you can add ghee over the dosa with a spoon.

Wheat dosa takes a bit more time than the regular white dosa. Cook till the base gets golden and crisp. Flip and cook the other side. Fold it and serve hot.
