To download your Aadhaar card online using the UIDAI website, follow these steps
- Visit the Official UIDAI Portal: Navigate to the UIDAI website
- Access the Download Section: Click on the “Download Aadhaar” option under the “Get Aadhaar” section.
- Enter Your Details:
- Aadhaar Number (UID): Input your 12-digit Aadhaar number.
- Enrolment ID (EID): Alternatively, enter your 28-digit enrolment ID if you don’t have the Aadhaar number.
- Virtual ID (VID): You can also use your 16-digit Virtual ID.
- Security Verification: Enter the captcha code displayed on the screen to verify you’re not a robot.
- Request OTP: Click on “Send OTP.” A One-Time Password will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- Enter OTP: Input the OTP received on your mobile device to authenticate.
- Download e-Aadhaar
- Regular Aadhaar: Displays your complete Aadhaar number.
- Masked Aadhaar: Conceals the first 8 digits of your Aadhaar number, showing only the last 4 digits.
- Access the PDF: The downloaded e-Aadhaar is a password-protected PDF. The password is a combination of the first four letters of your name in uppercase followed by your birth year in YYYY format. For example, if your name is “SURESH KUMAR” and your birth year is 1990, the password would be
